adidas AE1 Best of Adi

In closing out 2023, Minnesota Timberwolves sensation Anthony Edwards unveiled his debut signature sneaker, the adidas AE1, boasting three distinct colorways.

Following the successful launch of the "With Love" iteration, a familiar "Stormtrooper" rendition is primed to hit stores. Drawing inspiration from Kobe Bryant's iconic adidas Crazy 1 "Stormtrooper," the AE1 boasts a sleek aesthetic. Constructed with black knit textile, a TPU support cage ensures durability, while white accents and honeycomb perforations enhance breathability.

Edwards' initials grace the woven tongue tag, complemented by the Neon Green adidas Three Stripes logo adorning the rear heel. Incorporating Boost and Lightstrike technologies, the midsole delivers a responsive and lightweight experience.

Asics GEL-NYC “Wide Mesh” Pack

Though most likely attribute a “pack” release to collaborations between sneaker brands and outside imprints, companies have shown a willingness to bring that same energy to in-house offerings. Asics is no exception, and they’re picking up that mantle once again with their once-Awake exclusive GEL-NYC, landing in three contrasting colorways.

Each of the three sneakers included bring a different delicate hue to center stage. For two of them, in “Ash Rock” and “Mid Grey,” it becomes the dominant shade. On those cement and lilac shaded pairs, small bits of accenting are hidden on very heel and the tongue, but the lowkey pallete they adopt does most of the heavy lifting.

That leaves the final pair, in “Wood Crepe,” as the most animated. That beige takes up the bulk of the upper overlays, while “Harbor Blue” marks the wide mesh sections.

Air Jordan 5 Olive

After touching down on shelves in 2006, it’s almost time for the Air Jordan 5 “Olive” to make its grand return. Revealed as part of Jordan Brand’s Spring 2024 Collection, the pair utilizes its green hue across the upper with orange and metallic silver accents offering contrast.

Travis Scott x Jordan Jumpman Jack

This marks the first-ever release of Travis first signature shoe with Jordan Brand. After an unforgettable series of collaborative drops highlighted by the Air Jordan 1, the Jumpman Jack finally became available to consumers as a first-come-first-served drop on travissscott.com. Pairs were extremely limited but now the full release will be taking place on the 5th of this month.

Nike LeBron 4 Fruity Pebbles

It’s LeBron James' 21st season in the NBA this year and, despite being the oldest player remaining in the league, he continues to demonstrate that he’s capable of taking over any game he plays in. Backing his dominance, Nike Basketball introduced the LeBron 21 this season.

Looking ahead to 2024, another grail to hit the market is the LeBron 4 “Fruity Pebbles.” The design first appeared in 2006 as a player exclusive for James, with the occasional used pair appearing on secondhand marketplaces for thousands of dollars.

Its multicolored finish celebrates James’ favorite cereal as the pair comes complete with a thematic sole unit, carries Fruity Pebbles branding at the interior tongue tag and is completed by a special sockliner and shoe box.

Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship

Centered around the Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship — the first collaborative sneaker between the two parties — and offering a seven-piece capsule of apparel, the collection is a love letter to New York City’s influence on basketball and street culture.

Jordan Air Ship Rust Pink and Sail

The original Air Ship was the shoe MJ wore between his explosive potential and actualised greatness. It signified that his new dreams were taking shape. Continue the legend in this elegant edition.

Sail leather is wrapped with Rust Pink overlays, while pops of Gamma Green on the insoles and tongue label add fresh energy to this soft palette. Vintage block lettering stitched on the collar and that classic midsole treatment drum up '84 throwback appeal.

20 March

Air Jordan 14 Stealth

The greyscale Air Jordan 14 siphons its palette’s inspiration from the Air Jordan 13’s OG “Flint Grey” composition. As such, a two-toned ensemble enters the fold with the heritage-infused tone overtaking the entirety of the tumbled leather upper. Complimented by a crisp white outsole, spine and Ferrari badge, the reinterpreted offering drapes its reserved “Stealth” tint across the glossy mid-foot overlays and foxing of the heel.

Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 Low OG

Drawing inspiration from Michael Jordan’s 1986 Fleer Basketball rookie card and a 1984 Sports Illustrated photo featuring MJ in his Chicago Bulls warmups, both pairs boast a “Reverse Black Toe” colorway. The design incorporates polyester fabric on the toe, replicating the vintage jersey materials. The “Away” edition will be accessible at Trophy Room and select retailers.

The “Home” iteration, exclusively available in-store in Orlando, Florida, showcases a White Swoosh and pays homage to the ’86 Fleer rookie card with its Blue and Yellow trim.

Nike Air Max DN

Nike’s celebration of Air Max Day every March not only serves as an homage to the legendary line, but it also looks to the future with the introduction of a new silhouette. This year, they are dropping two new pairs. A brief look at the Air Max DN reveals its modern shape and new Air unit style — featuring four distinct “pods” at the heel. In this initial “Anthracite” colorway, dotted linework spans across the upper with the midfoot and heel highlighted by sleek geometry.

Nike Air Max 1 ’86 “Royal”

In a palette of White, Royal Blue, Neutral Grey, and Black, this Nike Air Max 1 harks back to its original design. The Royal Blue suede graces the mudguard, eyestays, TPU eyelets, and Nike branding on the tongue and heel.

Hints of Neutral Grey adorn the vamp, midfoot, and heel overlays, while White mesh takes over the base, matching the laces, tongue, and inner lining. To wrap it up, the classic “Big Bubble Air Max” sole unit in the heel rests atop a tri-colored rubber outsole, creating a timeless look.

Air Jordan 1 High Craft Ivory

Jordan Brand expands its trendy “Craft” series with the Air Jordan 1 High OG Craft “Ivory.” The release promises a stylish addition to the lineup. Adorned in Sea Glass, Pale Ivory, and Coconut Milk hues, this iteration showcases a mix of textures, including premium suede and raw canvas.
